Most importantly, it helps them to control what goes into their bodies allowing them to make better choices over the long haul. Cooking also teaches safety in the kitchen, money management if they are purchasing their supplies and even food safety.
All of these reasons are reasons to get your kids involved in cooking. The great news is that when it comes to cooking school and kids, there are several opportunities. Community colleges and even professional culinary arts schools offer programs designed for most age groups. Did you know that children that prepares their foods is more likely to actually try new foods?
