from:Cooking contests are an excellent way to enjoy food and the spirit of competition at the same time. Contests may range from entering an individual’s favourite recipe for a chance to win a prize to actual cooking to win the prize. Every website offers a myriad of choices of contests to enter depending on an individual’s desires.
Cooking Contest Central is a web site dedicated to locating cooking contests. These contests include recipe competitions as well. The subscription fee for joining Cooking Contest Central is only $25 per year. To its members they provide cooking contest alerts, which send emails to its subscribers two to four times a month about upcoming contest. They also offer a deadline contest list that provides subscribers access to all the current contests including one for professionals and even ones for kids. The listing information lists basic information about the contest deadline information and links to learn more. Cooking Contest Central provides a forum for its members to communicate and offer support while competing in these contests.
Food Reference provides a dedicated web page to cooking contests. On this page it offers for free every current contests with a little blurb about each one and the date by which the contestant needs to enter. Although most of the contests listed are for entering recipes, there are a few listings for cooking contests, having a big party, getting an individual’s family to eat more fruits and vegetables, and even one to do a commercial. There is a contest listed under Food Reference for any and every talents with these listings.
Contest Cook offers people a website for finding cooking contests. There is a small subscription fee of $25 a year fee. To its members they offer contests lists that give details, due dates, prize lists, and link to the official rules. Their list gives deadline contests, ongoing contests, professional contests, state fairs, varied contests, and archives. They offer message boards to talk with other members, and even chat with past winners of competitions. They have a winning recipes page so individuals could view what judges are searching for in certain contests. In the forms section individuals may keep their recipes organized for submitting to contests. Contest cook will keep its members updated as well as offer tips to compete.
Proof positive provides free cooking contest listings. There are two sections one of ongoing contest lists, and one of deadline contests. New contests are added often. They provide contest details, deadline information, prize information, and links to more information about the contest.
